The Pension Service website is the first stop for many questions concerning pensions.
The HM Revenue a Customs website, formerly the Inland Revenue, will provide you with information about your national insurance contributions.
The Pensions Regulator, formerly the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority, can help you trace an old pension plan to see whether it still holds benefits.
Information on stakeholder pensions can be found at the Financial Services Authority.
